Comp Dr David Harrison will visit us again from Cheshire, this time to look at the mysterious but influential rites created in Continental Europe in the eighteenth century, many of the degrees of which took hold in this country and still survive, including the Royal Arch.

David is an archaeologist and historian who gained his PhD by focusing on the development of English Freemasonry. He has written a number of books on the history of Freemasonry and has contributed many articles to vaious journals and magazines.
